Vanilla Ice vs Queen & Bowie
Vanilla Ice was known in lots of households because copyright infringement that had in 1990 when he had used some of Queen and David Bowie’s song “Under Pressure” without consent. He was known for his hit Ice Ice Baby that hit number one on the charts in the United States. Vanilla Ice changed the rhythm of the baseline because he thought he would avoid any question of credit, royalties, license or permission. The case didn't go to court but it was clear that Vanilla Ice had stolen it without permission. He got out of court with Queen and David Bowie for an undisclosed but for a very high amount. Ice Ice Baby has since been released in many different versions with all of the legal procedures followed.
